This self-paced course teaches veterinarians how to use abdominocentesis and point-of-care blood lactate and glucose testing in equine colic cases. Learners will understand when these diagnostics support decision-making for referral and non-referral cases, and how to perform abdominocentesis technique and interpret peritoneal fluid findings.
