This course explores spiritual abuse—the use of God or religion to gain power and control—through pastoral, developmental, and clinical perspectives. Clinicians learn to assess and treat this often-overlooked form of abuse, particularly in clients with histories of abuse or addiction, using case studies and critical thinking activities.
