About This Event
These are self-paced online certification programs that prepare health information professionals to become AHIMA-designated trainers in specialized areas. Participants learn to deliver in-service trainings and issue AHIMA continuing education units (CEUs) in focus areas including ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-CM/PCS, Clinical Documentation Integrity, and Revenue Cycle. Upon completion of coursework, a final exam, and teaching demonstration, participants earn an official trainer designation.
