About This Event
This webinar discusses the biology and ecological impact of the invasive yellow-legged hornet (Vespa velutina), which was detected in Georgia in 2023 and poses a serious threat to pollinator communities in the southeastern United States. Ben Powell from Clemson Extension explains what is known about this predatory species and how it can be managed to protect native and non-native bee populations that support forests and agriculture.
