This course teaches clinicians how to use the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) as a screening tool to predict client dropout risk from residential substance use disorder treatment. Learners will understand how mild cognitive impairment and other evidence-based factors contribute to treatment dropout, and how to apply the MoCA tool as part of intake screening to improve retention and treatment planning.
