About This Event
This course teaches the legislative history and evolution of air pollution control in the United States, from the Air Pollution Control Act of 1955 through the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments. Learners will understand how the Clean Air Act protects human health, master the requirements of New Source Review permitting programs and Title V permits, and learn about emission reduction standards for sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and mercury.
