About This Event
This is a required foundational 3-day training for individuals pursuing Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS) or Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS) certification in Texas. Participants with lived experience of mental health or substance use challenges learn peer support principles, ethics, trauma-informed practices, crisis response, and peer-based communication skills through interactive exercises and role-play.
