Spiritual Abuse: Recognizing and Addressing in Clinical Situations

This workshop explores spiritual abuse through pastoral, developmental, and clinical perspectives, examining how religion or God can be misused as tools for power and control. Participants will learn to identify spiritual abuse in clinical settings, assess associated negative cognitions, and develop trauma-informed treatment plans that support clients who have experienced this often-overlooked form of abuse.
