Hosted by Impact CE
Dates TBD· Timezone: Eastern Online / Virtual
About This Event
This course examines issues pertaining to women in recovery groups by analyzing research comparing Women's Recovery Group (WRG) to mixed-gender groups and evaluating secular recovery groups (SMART, WGS, LifeRing) against 12-step programs. Learners will be able to assess group therapy effectiveness based on gender composition, understand the role of cohesion and participation in recovery outcomes, and determine the best fit for clients based on gender, recovery goals, and religiosity.
