This interactive workshop focuses on preparing family caregivers of persons with serious or terminal illness for the death and bereavement experience. Using the Stress-Coping Model and caregiver-centered therapeutic approaches, the session covers three dimensions of preparation—emotional, cognitive, and practical—to help informal providers enhance their readiness and maintain mental health during caregiving and bereavement.
