About This Event
This course teaches healthcare and behavioral health professionals how to implement a trauma-informed approach (TIA) within their organizations. Learners will explore SAMHSA's 2014 Concept of Trauma and TIP 57 guidance, focusing on practical tools and strategies across 10 implementation domains including training, leadership, cross-sector collaboration, financing, physical environment, screening and assessment, policy, and evaluation. Participants will be able to assess organizational readiness, plan TIA implementation, and evaluate effectiveness using real-world examples.
