About This Event
This 3-hour competency-based, interprofessional advanced training program teaches pharmacists and student pharmacists about over-the-counter hearing aids. Developed by University of Pittsburgh faculty, the course covers epidemiology of hearing loss, OTC hearing aid regulations, and the pharmacist's patient care process for recognizing, intervening, and referring patients with hearing loss to appropriate healthcare.
