A 40-hour virtual certification training for individuals in mental health recovery who want to become Mental Health Peer Specialists in Texas. The training covers peer support principles, ethics, storysharing, crisis support, advocacy, documentation, and provides step-by-step guidance through the Texas certification process. Participants learn to turn their lived experience into professional expertise through interactive exercises, role-play scenarios, and facilitation by certified instructors with lived experience.
