This self-paced continuing education course examines the public health concern of mass shootings and extremist violence, exploring perpetrator characteristics, pathways to violence, gun violence trends, and evidence-based prevention approaches. Clinicians learn to identify persons at risk for mass violence and understand the relationship between mass shootings, extremist violence, and domestic homicide through case histories and current research.
