This on-demand nursing course examines the relationship between hyperglycemia and delayed wound healing in hospitalized patients. Participants learn preventative strategies for skin breakdown, identification of wound types including vascular ulcers, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds, and evidence-based care interventions for patients with diabetes and hyperglycemic conditions.
