Accredited by: NCRA (National Court Reporters Association) / CAPR (Council of the Academy of Professional Reporters)
NCRA's Continuing Education Program is established and administered by the authority of the Council of the Academy of Professional Reporters (CAPR). RSR, RPR, RMR, RDR, CRR, CRC, CPE, CRI, MCRI, and CMRS certification holders maintain their credential by maintaining continuous membership in NCRA and earning 3.0 units of continuing education each three-year cycle. Certification holders may choose to earn all 3.0 of their required credits in formal CEU activities but are restricted to a maximum of 1.0 Professional Development Credits (PDCs) activities per cycle. CLVS holders earn 1.0 CEU each three-year cycle (at least 0.75 of which must be a CEU). CEUs are awarded for class time and may be taken online, in webinar or e-seminar format, or as in-person classes. PDCs are awarded for professional development activities deemed beneficial to the profession.
