About This Event
NCRA's Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) is the foundational certification for entry-level freelance and official stenographic court reporters. Candidates must pass skills and knowledge exams, and maintain certification through NCRA membership and 3.0 CEUs per three-year period.

Accredited by: Council of the Academy of Professional Reporters (CAPR) / National Court Reporters Association (NCRA)
NCRA certifications (RSR, RPR, RMR, RDR, CRR, CRC, CPE, CRI) require 3.0 units per three-year cycle, at least 2.0 of which must be CEUs. CLVS holders require 1.0 CEU per three-year cycle, at least 0.75 of which must be a CEU. CEUs are based on ACCET definition: 10 contact hours = 1 CEU. Approved by CAPR.
