About This Event
This course examines the essential components of a comprehensive framework of internal control for state and local governments, based on the COSO Internal Control – Integrated Framework. Participants will learn about the five components of internal control, 17 associated principles, fraud prevention and detection, and the roles of various stakeholders in maintaining effective internal controls.
