CRRT: Management of the Patient with Renal Dysfunction

This nursing education activity focuses on critical care renal replacement therapy (CRRT) for patients with renal dysfunction. Participants will learn fluid management strategies, recognize and manage complications of renal injury, and gain hands-on competency in setting up and operating the NxStage CRRT device. The course covers electrolyte imbalances, volume management, and potential complications including air embolus, hemorrhage, and filter clotting.
