About This Event
This is a mandated reporter training course for Pennsylvania Act 31 compliance that covers child abuse recognition and reporting requirements. The 2-contact-hour online course is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and fulfills the state requirement for mandated reporters to receive training in recognizing and reporting child abuse. It covers the child welfare system in Pennsylvania, categories of child abuse, indicators of abuse, and the legal responsibilities and processes for reporting suspected abuse.
