About This Event
This certification program trains parents and guardians with lived experience navigating mental, emotional, or behavioral health challenges in their children to become Certified Family Partners. Participants learn to use their experience to support other families, advocate within child-serving systems, facilitate support groups, and reduce mental health stigma in communities. The program includes a 5-day training, competency exam, and supervised practice hours leading to state certification.
