About This Event
This is an online caregiver training program designed to meet California state requirements for caregivers working in assisted living and residential care facilities for the elderly (RCFE). The program offers both initial 40-hour training and annual 20-hour training, covering topics such as personal care services, physical limitations and psychosocial needs of the elderly, dementia care, emergency preparedness, medication management, cultural competency, and elder abuse.
