About This Event
This course provides an introduction to geology, exploring how the Earth functions as a complex system requiring understanding of mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, and astronomy. Students will learn about the Earth's formation as a product of star formation, geological processes including chemical and physical reactions in rocks and natural phenomena, and how to sustainably utilize Earth's resources while preserving ecosystems.
