Art Is Fun, Art Is Serious Business and Everything in Between: Learning from Art Therapy Research and Practice with Children and Teens

This course explores theoretical frameworks for providing art therapy to children, adolescents, and their caregivers across various practice settings including schools, psychiatric and medical programs, private practice, and community centers. Participants will learn evidence-based assessments and interventions, considerations for working with youth in different contexts, and bio-psycho-socio-cultural aspects of client experiences with attention to diversity and social justice.
