About This Event
This course provides a comprehensive review of the effectiveness and cost-benefits of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and 12-Step Facilitation (TSF) interventions for alcohol use disorder. Learners will evaluate research findings showing that AA/TSF interventions are at least as effective as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational enhancement therapy, often superior in achieving continuous abstinence and remission, and demonstrate significant healthcare cost savings.
