About This Event
This online course provides specialized training in death investigation, covering three major areas: child and infant death investigations including SUID form completion and doll-reenactment techniques, identification processes and methods used in death investigation, and complex cases where natural disease mimics trauma or trauma-related deaths appear natural. Learners will gain skills to recognize critical factors in infant death scenes, apply various identification methods, and differentiate between natural disease processes with underlying trauma and unusual natural disease manifestations that resemble non-natural deaths.
