This 8-hour continuing education course fulfills the Texas Annuity Certification requirement for resident insurance agents who sell, solicit, or negotiate annuity contracts. Participants will learn about annuity types and classifications, contract provisions for fixed, variable, and indexed annuities, income taxation of qualified and nonqualified annuities, appropriate sales practices, Texas-specific regulations under Chapter 1115, and ethical standards including prohibited practices and fraud recognition.
